Marathon Training Holidays
       

Embrace hosts 4 specialised marathon training holidays throughout the year. They are perfectly placed to the lead up to the Spring and Autum marathons. The holidays cater for all abilities from first timers to the seasonal marathon runner.

You will receive excellent training targeting your marathon or longer distance goals. The holidays include longer scheduled runs and pacing sessions giving you the confidence to perform at your best on race day. Coaching & advice will be at hand as well as talks on nutrition and demonstrations and an analysis on running techniques...see calendar

 
 
Advanced Training Holidays
       

Embrace advanced running holidays are suitable for runners aiming for a for a sub-3:15hr marathon. The Running holidays will also give you the opportunity to discuss your training plans, receive coaching and advice and socialise with like-minded runners. We will also be exploring some of the amazing sights of our locations and give you a chance to relax in the luxury accommodation and sample the many local cafe’s.

Embrace will be running two training sessions a day focusing on improving all aspects of your running. The sessions are optional and there is a shorter distance available for each run. We will work with you at the start of the week to make sure you get the best out of your training holiday...more

 
 
       
 
Embrace Running
   
Whatever flavour your terrain is... we got it!:
Our locations were originally selected because of the beauty of the running routes that we discovered. The Algarve host's breathtaking coastal tracks, woodland trail runs and flat beaches that span over 6km. The Pyrenees puts size into perspective as you are dwarfed when running by (or up!) the enormous surrounding cols. Exmoor has the famous Wimbleball lake with amazing wildlife, trail paths and true English countryside roads. Throw in a quality running track in at each location and what more could a runner want?!
 
   
A bit of this... A bit of that:
We mix each week up to showcase the best of what each location has to offer. All our routes are suitable for a novice through to a championship runner. We normally run two sessions a day and will sit with you at the start of the week to go over what sessions will be most beneficial for you. With clear markings, hydration and Embrace leading the way, you will find the running not only challenging but very rewarding!
 
   
Trials, handicaps & runners = good tasting grapes:
Depending on what the group wants to achieve during the week we offer to hold either a timed distance run (5k, 10k, 10m, ½ marathon, 20m), or a friendly handicapped race. Being runners ourselves we know we all like a challenge from time to time. Plus it makes the vinho (wine) taste a little better in the evening!
